Checkerboard Faceted Teardrop Prasiolite and Sterling Silver Pendant with Popcorn Chain

$150.00

Though “prasiolite” and “green amethyst” are used interchangeably to identify this green variety of quartz, the term “green amethyst” is a misnomer because amethysts are purple by definition. Most prasiolites are produced by heating amethysts to approximately 932 degrees Fahrenheit. This 23 millimeter light green teardrop-shaped amethyst is checkerboard faceted and set in popcorn-textured sterling silver (92.5% silver content). The pendant comes on an Italian sterling silver popcorn chain.

Chain Length: 18 inches

Weight: 10.6 grams

This is an estate item; items that are preowned may show minimal signs of wear.
